Camp
Becky Coombs and another friend in Boulder, Colorado Stake during my fourth year of camp at Camp WonderVu.
Do you have camp ideas? Send them and I will add them to the site. jenny@mormons.org
Hang these in the bathrooms, on the walls of the latrines, on bunks, near the flagpole, wherever they'll be visible. It's a nice reminder of the spirit of sisterhood and love that all should feel at camp.
Ideas for hikes, firesides, devotionals
Take a Night Hike and read and discuss the Book of Abraham, particularly about the Lord's creations and how Latter-day Saints fit into the Abrahamic covenant
Place people along the trail to tell pioneers stories or to give them counsel as if they were the pioneers. Leave markers of inspirational scriptures or songs ("Carry On!" "True to the Faith," "Come, Come, Ye Saints," 1 Nephi 3:7, 2 Nephi 31:19-20, Mosiah 4:9, Alma 26:1-2, Alma 26:12, 2 Nephi 2:25, 2 Nephi 28:30, 2 Nephi 27:23) Have Brigham Young at the end say, "This is the right place."
